Welcome Letter

The Therapeutic Relationship

• This is a collaborative relationship. Both you and your therapist will work together to come up with ways to help you achieve your goals or make the changes you require in your life.
• Everything you say in session is strictly confidential except in the cases of legal implications or endangerment of self or others.
• Honesty is key. If anything about the therapy is not working for you, speak to your therapist and come up with a plan together on how to move forward.
• If you are thinking about terminating therapy, speak to your therapist and come up with an exit plan and plan any anticipated setbacks.

Timing

• Please arrive 5 minutes ahead of time.
• Your session will end exactly 1 hour from the agreed on appointment time, regardless of arrival time.
• If the client is late by 15 minutes or more, the session will be considered cancelled and will be charged in full.
• In the unlikely event that your therapist is late to an appointment, the session will end one hour from the time the session starts.

Cancellations

• Cancellations/modifications to the time of your session should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be chargeable in full.
• The responsibility of cancellation/modification belongs to the client. If no request for cancellation is received 24 hours or more in advance the session is considered confirmed and therefore chargeable.
• In the unlikely event that your therapist cancels, no charge will be made to your account and you will be contacted to reschedule your session.
• Session packages automatically expire three months from the date of the first session. Please make sure to use all sessions within your package during that time.

Payment

• Sessions must be paid in full in advance.
• Payments should be made to the following account. Once the payment is made, please forward us a copy of your payment.
