About Namaste Bahrain

Namaste Bahrain is a wellness practice built around one simple belief: that yoga, breathing and meditation can change a life. Since 2011 we have taught, counselled and guided people across Bahrain and the wider Gulf, on the mat and well beyond it. We come to wellness through both yoga and psychotherapy, so our work holds space for the body and for the mind at the same time. What began as one teacher's practice has grown into a full offering of classes, counselling, training, retreats and corporate programmes — all rooted in the same intention, to help people come home to themselves.

What We Do

A full path of practice

Private yoga, breathing and meditation sessions, plus one-to-one counselling, for people who want to work at their own pace.

An online video library of pre-recorded classes, so a practice is always within reach at home.

A growing encyclopedia of yoga poses and breathing techniques, each with alignment cues, benefits, precautions and beginner modifications.

Tailored wellness programmes for companies that want to look after their teams.

Ongoing support and training for yoga studios and their teachers.

Yoga teacher training, for those ready to teach.

Guided retreats abroad, including our Morocco and Cambodia retreats.

Who It's For

Made for people and workplaces

Namaste Bahrain is for anyone in Bahrain and the Gulf who wants to feel better in their body and steadier in their mind — whether you are brand new to yoga, returning after years away, or a seasoned practitioner. We work with individuals, couples and families, with companies who want to support their teams, and with yoga studios and teachers who want to grow their own offering.

For individuals

Anyone seeking calm, strength, clarity or support through a difficult chapter.

For companies

Employers who want wellbeing to be part of how they care for their people.

For studios & teachers

Studios and teachers looking to grow, refine and deepen their offering.

Who Builds It

Built by Weam Zabar

Namaste Bahrain is founded and led by Weam Zabar — an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT-500), psychotherapist, Reiki Level 4 healer and author. She is the person who teaches the classes, holds the counselling sessions, writes the material and leads our retreats. Everything on this site is built in-house by our small team in Bahrain, rather than licensed from elsewhere.

After a lifelong struggle with mental illness, Weam set foot on the spiritual path in 2007 through an intense and transformative practice of meditation, yoga and energy healing. Seeing how those practices saved her life, she left behind a demanding corporate career to dedicate herself to guiding others home.
